As Chief Investment Officer, Mike is responsible for developing and overseeing our investment strategy, ensuring alignment with goals and risk management objectives. Mike oversees the Research and Trading department which executes our investment strategies. In addition, Mike maintains direct relationships with clients and managed their portfolios.

Mike holds the Chartered Market Technician designation (CMT) and headed both his M.B.A. with an emphasis in finance and B. S. from St. Mary’s College of California. He has created proprietary cycle, bond and option market signals to help navigate difficult market conditions and most manage risk in portfolios. Mike has been quoted in Barron’s for his technical analysis.

Since joining Bedell Fraizer Investment Counselling in 2006, Mike has been instrumental in building the firm’s trading systems and processes becoming a partner in 2013. As of March 2026, Mike has also taken on the responsibility of being the Chief Investment Officer of Capital Planning Advisors and is excited to continue assisting clients as the firms continue to grow. He and his wife Haley stay active raising their two young sons Hudson and Owen.
